About the Training
Damage Prevention Act Law Training
If you’re doing any excavation in the state of Virginia or want to know more about the laws on safe digging practices, this session is for you! Become more familiar with Virginia’s Damage Prevention Act, and increase your knowledge base of safe digging best practices and the importance of the Dig with CARE message.
Web Ticket Entry (WTE) Training
If you’re a professional excavator and are required to obtain additional training, or if you need to map more than SAT 2.0, this course is for you. Our Bootcamp instructor-led course, conducted by qualified Virginia 811 trainers Nikki Turpin and Anna Holtz (virtual), will provide you with the instruction and tools you need to confidently enter and map your own tickets.
Member Services Training
Cathy Waldron, Virginia 811 Member Services Liaison, will be on hand to help guide members through commonly used tools such as the alert server, no show reports, ticket searches, and more. This is a great opportunity to ask member-related questions, learn more about policies and services, and exchange comments and insights.
Registration is now open for both sessions.
