ABOUT THE VIRGINIA UTILITY SAFETY CONFERENCE

Virginia 811, in partnership with the Division of Utility and Railroad Safety of the State Corporation Commission, is proud to host the 2025 Virginia Utility Safety Conference this October.

In previous years, two separate conferences were held in Virginia: the April Damage Prevention Conference and the October Pipeline Safety Conference—both supported by the Division of Utility and Railroad Safety of the State Corporation Commission. To enhance collaboration and provide an even more comprehensive experience for attendees, these two events are now being combined into a single conference in October 2025.

This new format will bring together industry professionals, partners, and experts from across Virginia for expanded discussions, training sessions, and networking opportunities focused on damage prevention, utility and pipeline safety, and regulatory compliance.

Additional conference information, including the meeting agenda, will be shared as it becomes available.

Upon registration, you will receive details about hotel accommodations, including group rates and booking deadlines. An invoice will be sent to your email address within 3 business days of registration. Please keep an eye out for this invoice and submit payment promptly to finalize your registration.

VENDOR REGISTRATION

Each booth includes:

  • Furnishings: One 6’ x 30” tabletop, two chairs, and a small wastebasket 
  • Power: One standard 110-volt outlet (upon request)

Vendors are expected to maintain their exhibits for the full duration of the conference.
